Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tunkhannock can't hold off Pittston

The Pittston Patriots basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Tunkhannock Tigers to 56 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dallas for a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Tuesday, January 25. Pittston will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 85-26 non-league win over Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 9-3.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Cougars enter the Wyoming Valley 1 contest with a 12-2 record.
