Parkview Patriots (Little Rock, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Benton Panthers (Benton, AR), 58-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Parkview upgrades its record to 2-13 on the season. The Patriots travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AR) to clash with the Titans in a 5A Central bout on Saturday, January 29. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 10-6.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Maumelle Hornets (Maumelle, AR) in a 5A Central bout, on Wednesday, January 26. Benton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 67-45 league loss to Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR).
