Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL), 54-16 in a league bout.
With the win, Huntley upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Red Raiders host Sycamore (Sycamore, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 24. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 20-0. Sycamore won 60-27 in their recent league bout against Ottawa (Ottawa, IL)
Next up, the Chargers play the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) in a Fox Valley game, on Wednesday, January 26. Dundee-Crown will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Rockets enter the game with a 14-7 record after their 44-34 non-league win over South Elgin (South Elgin, IL).
