Illinois High School Basketball - Galesburg knocked off by Morton

The Morton Potters basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Galesburg Silver Streaks to 35 in the Potters non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Potters now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canton for a Mid-Illini contest on Monday, January 24. Morton will battle a Little Giants team coming off a 48-23 league loss to Washington (Washington, IL). The Little Giants record now stands at 7-11.
The Silver Streaks (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils enter the Western Big 6 contest with a 6-8 record.
