Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pacheco Panthers (Los Banos, CA), 59-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Lathrop upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Ceres (Ceres, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Western Athletic Conference bout on Monday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Ceres lost 54-32 in their recent league bout against Mountain House (Mountain House, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Johansen Vikings (Modesto, CA) in a Western Athletic Conference bout, on Monday, January 24. Pacheco will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 47-42 league win over Los Banos (Los Banos, CA).
