In Monday's league outing, the Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Rosemead Panthers (Rosemead, CA), by a count of 49-41.

The Knights (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against Marshall (Pasadena, CA). The Eagles go into the Mission Valley outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Marshall was topped by South El Monte (South El Monte, CA), 59-47, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 4-14 record. They play next when they host El Monte for a Mission Valley outing on Wednesday, January 24. Rosemead will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 73-32 league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-23.
