The Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA) basketball crushed the host Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen (Newport News, VA), 68-38 in Monday's league test.

The Seahawks (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Catholic was trounced by Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA), 52-51, in a league test.

The Minutemen now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Greenbrier Christian Academy for a Tidewater Independent test on Friday, January 26. Denbigh Baptist Christian will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 59-29 league win over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA). The Gators record now stands at 8-4.
