The Bartlett Indians basketball team (Webster, MA), was nudged 51-47 in Monday's league battle with the host Southbridge Pioneers (Southbridge, MA)
The Pioneers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oxford for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 25. Southbridge will battle a Pirates team coming off a 61-51 non-league win over Prouty (Spencer, MA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-6.
The Indians (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA). The Cougars come into the South Worcester County - B battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Quaboag Regional edged Leicester (Leicester, MA), 59-49, in a league battle.
