Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn Cambria thwarts Bedford

The Penn Cambria Panthers (Cresson, PA) basketball knocked off the host Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA), 64-52 in Monday's league test.

The Panthers (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Eagles go into the Laurel Highlands test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Somerset went down by Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA), 71-29, in a league test.

The Bisons now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Greater Johnstown for a Laurel Highlands test on Wednesday, January 24. Bedford will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 50-45 league win over Central (Martinsburg, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 14-2.
