The Chaparral Roadrunners basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Belle Plaine Dragons to 43 in the Roadrunners non-league victory on Monday.

The Roadrunners now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conway Springs for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Chaparral will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 0-0 non-league Wellington (Wellington, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-4.

The Dragons (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Trinity Academy was defeated by Dodge City (Dodge City, KS), 64-41, in a non-league contest.
