Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA), 89-69 in a league bout.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Mountain View (Kingsley, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a Lackawanna 4 bout on Monday, January 29. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-9.

Next up, the Meteors clash with the Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Montrose will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 58-39 league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA).
