Nebraska High School Basketball - West Holt winner over Boyd County

January 22, 2024: Spencer, NE 68777

The West Holt Huskies (Atkinson, NE) basketball felled the host Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE), 52-42 in Monday's non-league test.

The Huskies (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Neligh-Oakdale was beaten by Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE), 71-32, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Burke for a non-league test on Thursday, January 25. Boyd County will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 72-49 league loss to Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Cougars record now stands at 1-8.
