The Salmon Savages basketball team (Salmon, ID), was overwhelmed 67-44 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Butte County Pirates (Arco, ID)

The Pirates now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alturas Prep for a 1A I High Desert battle on Friday, January 26.

The Savages (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against West Jefferson (Terreton, ID). The Panthers come into the 2A Nuclear battle with a 3-11 record.
