With the victory, Calvin upgrades its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Cougars host Central (Jonesville, LA) to play the Panthers in a C District 2 bout on Thursday, January 25. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-11.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Dodson Panthers (Dodson, LA) in a C District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Saline will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 3-19 record after their 62-35 league loss to Calvin (Calvin, LA).
