Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ), 62-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Casteel upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Colts travel to Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ) to clash with the Cougars in a 5A San Tan bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Casa Grande lost 59-47 in their recent league bout against Higley (Gilbert, AZ)

Next up, the Coyotes clash with the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A San Tan bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Campo Verde will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Pride go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 61-58 league win over Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ).
