Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ), 85-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Canyon View upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Jaguars host Millennium (Goodyear, AZ) to play the Tigers in a 5A Desert West bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Millennium won 96-67 in their recent league bout against Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ)

Next up, the Vipers play the Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) in a 5A Desert West bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Verrado will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 97-44 league loss to Millennium (Goodyear, AZ).
