The Cape Cod RVT Crusaders (Harwich, MA) basketball nipped the host Falmouth Academy Mariners (Falmouth, MA), 51-46 in Monday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Monomoy (Harwich, MA). The Sharks go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Monomoy got by Cape Cod Academy (Osterville, MA), 55-50, in a league test.
The Mariners now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. John Paul II for a Cape & Islands - Lighthouse test on Tuesday, January 23. Falmouth Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 75-62 non-league loss to Neighborhood House Charter (Dorchester, MA). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.
