The Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Fulton City Bulldogs (Fulton, KY), 89-36 in Monday's league test.

The Comets (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Pilots go into the District 1 test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Fulton County was trounced by Mayfield (Mayfield, KY), 80-28, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Carlisle County for a District 1 test on Friday, January 26. Fulton City will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 85-41 league win over Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Comets record now stands at 12-6.
