The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) basketball crushed the visiting Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT), 60-33 in Monday's league test.
The Redhawks (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Cougars go into the Metro test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Mt. Mansfield was trounced by Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT), 79-34, in a league test.
The Lakers now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bellows Free Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, January 25. Colchester will encounter a Bobwhites/Comets squad coming off a 58-46 non-league win over South Burlington (South Burlington, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets record now stands at 7-6.
