Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA), 59-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dade County upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Section (Section, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 11-9. Section won 77-22 in their recent league bout against Ider (Ider, AL)

Next up, the Indians play the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Chattooga will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 75-28 league win over Coosa (Rome, GA).
