The Knoxville Panthers basketball team (Knoxville, IA), was nudged 66-62 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA)
The Indians now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davis County for a South Central battle on Tuesday, January 23. Clarke will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 78-67 league loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-11.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Centerville edged Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA), 79-52, in a non-league battle.
