Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Coast Union Broncos (Cambria, CA), 68-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Maricopa (Maricopa, CA) to clash with the Indians in a Coast Valley bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Maricopa lost 42-29 in their recent league bout against Coast Union (Cambria, CA)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Coast Union will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Scots go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 67-56 league loss to Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA).
