The Northland Vikings basketball team scored 87 points and held the host Columbus International Lions to 50 in the Vikings league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mifflin for a Columbus City - North contest on Tuesday, January 23. Northland will meet a Punchers team coming off a 60-56 league loss to Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH). The Punchers record now stands at 5-8.
The Lions (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH). The Panthers enter the Columbus City - North contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Linden-McKinley triumphed over Mifflin (Columbus, OH), 60-56, in a league contest.
