In Monday's league outing, the Damien Spartans (La Verne, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA), by a margin of 80-44.

The Spartans (20-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA). The Huskies go into the Baseline outing with a 13-11 record. In their last outing, Chino Hills was trounced by Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA), 71-46, in a league outing.

The Highlanders/Scots now own a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Los Osos for a Baseline outing on Wednesday, January 24. Upland will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 68-46 league loss to Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 13-10.
