The Fort Dodge Dodgers basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Des Moines East Scarlets to 28 in the Dodgers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Dodgers now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Fort Dodge will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 56-40 league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 4-8.

The Scarlets (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Mohawks enter the Freelance contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Mason City was routed by Ames (Ames, IA), 68-30, in a non-league contest.
