The Desert Heights Prep Yote basketball team (Glendale, AZ), was toppled 46-37 in Monday's league battle with the visiting North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators (Phoenix, AZ)

The Gladiators now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maryvale Prep for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 24.

The Yote (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions come into the 1A Central battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, North Valley Christian Academy beat Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ), 61-26, in a non-league battle.
