The Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons to 49 in the Pirate league triumph on Monday.
The Pirate now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Innovations International for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon will meet a Ambassadors team coming off a 62-30 non-league win over American Heritage Academy (Henderson, NV). The Ambassadors record now stands at 5-2.
The Dragons (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (Henderson, NV). The Falcons enter the 3A Southern - Mountain contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas ran past Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV), 62-60, in a league contest.
