Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), 55-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Elk Lake upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Warriors host Mountain View (Kingsley, PA) to play the Eagles in a Lackawanna 4 bout on Thursday, January 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Mountain View lost 72-47 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)

Next up, the Foresters play the Susquehanna Sabers (Susquehanna, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 bout, on Thursday, January 25. Forest City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Sabers go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 51-37 league loss to Elk Lake (Dimock, PA).
