Grant Generals (Portland, OR) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR), 63-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Grant upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Generals travel to McDaniel (Portland, OR) to play the Mountain Lions in a 6A Portland bout on Thursday, January 25. The Mountain Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-13. McDaniel lost 69-55 in their recent league bout against Wells (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Quakers play the Jefferson Democrats (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland bout, on Thursday, January 25. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Democrats come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 69-65 league loss to Roosevelt (Portland, OR).
