The Great Valley Patriots basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Kennett Blue Demons to 39 in the Patriots league victory on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Unionville for a Ches-Mont - American contest on Thursday, January 25. Great Valley will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 78-48 league win over Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA). The Longhorns record now stands at 15-2.

The Blue Demons (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Academy Park was defeated by Boyertown (Boyertown, PA), 83-75, in a non-league contest.
