The Southside Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Greensboro Raiders to 34 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ellwood Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Southside will battle a Eagles team coming off a 97-38 league loss to Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-19.

The Raiders (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Southside (Gadsden, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Southside was routed by Plainview (Rainsville, AL), 72-33, in a non-league contest.
