Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR) and the visiting Jefferson Lions (Jefferson, OR), saw Santiam Christian's basketball squad wallop Jefferson by a count of 73-46.

With the victory, Santiam Christian upgrades its record to 2-14 on the campaign. The Eagles host Sheridan (Sheridan, OR) to play the Spartans in a 3A PacWest challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Sheridan lost 67-41 in their recent league challenge against Amity (Amity, OR)

Next up, the Lions play the Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) in a 3A PacWest challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Loggers come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 76-66 league loss to Taft (Lincoln City, OR).
