Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), 78-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Selinsgrove upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Seals travel to Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA) to confront the Braves in a Heartland I battle on Friday, January 26. The Braves come into the battle with a record of 5-8. Shikellamy lost 50-49 in their recent league battle against Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA)

The Bulldogs (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Milton (Milton, PA). The Black Panthers come into the Heartland I battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Milton was toppled by Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA), 64-32, in a non-league battle.
