Maryland High School Basketball - Northern falls to Mountain Ridge

In Monday's league match, the host Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored a good 65-47 triumph over the Northern Huskies.

In their next game, the Miners meet the Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 24. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Golden Tornado enter the match with a 4-6 record after their 68-61 league loss to Hampshire (Romney, WV).

With the defeat, Northern moves to 5-7 on the year. The Huskies host Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD) to meet the Sentinels in a Appalachian match on Tuesday, January 23. The Sentinels enter the match with a record of 8-2. Fort Hill won 70-45 in their recent league match against Southern (Oakland, MD)
