Nebraska High School Basketball - Mullen can't hold off Sandhills Valley

The Sandhills Valley Mavericks basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Mullen Broncos to 33 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mavericks now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Loup for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Sandhills Valley will battle a team coming off a 66-38 non-league win over Brady (Brady, NE). The record now stands at 10-2.

The Broncos (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hershey (Hershey, NE). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record.
