South Carolina High School Basketball - Newberry Academy trounces Oconee Christian Academy

The Newberry Academy (Newberry, SC) basketball crushed the visiting Oconee Christian Academy Warriors (Seneca, SC), 56-33 in Monday's league test.

The (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Cambridge Academy (Greenwood, SC). The Cougars go into the SCISA A Region IV test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Cambridge Academy walloped King Academy (Batesburg, SC), 57-27, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host King Academy for a SCISA A Region IV test on Thursday, January 25. Oconee Christian Academy will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 27-24 league win over Anderson Christian (Anderson, SC). The Knights record now stands at 2-11.
