In Monday's league match, the visiting North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] Cougars basketball team scored a good 62-54 triumph over the St. John Woodchucks.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Westhope/Newburg Sioux (Westhope, ND) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 25. North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Sioux enter the match with a 13-0 record after their 75-58 league win over Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND).

With the defeat, St. John moves to 3-11 on the year. The Woodchucks travel to Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND) to meet the Mustangs in a B District 3 match on Friday, January 26.
