Rhode Island High School Basketball - Prout ripped by North Smithfield

The North Smithfield Northmen basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Prout Crusaders to 52 in the Northmen league triumph on Monday.
The Northmen now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Exeter-West Greenwich for a Division 3 contest on Wednesday, January 24. North Smithfield will battle a Scarlet Knights team coming off a 78-36 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 2-10.
The Crusaders (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties enter the Division 3 contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Mount St. Charles Academy was routed by Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI), 67-51, in a league contest.
