In Monday's non-league outing, the St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA), by a margin of 41-36.
The Saints (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights go into the 3A District 3 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, South Beauregard was tipped by Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA), 57-53, in a league outing.
The Wolves now own a 10-14 record. They play next when they host LaGrange for a 4A District 3 outing on Tuesday, January 23.
