In Monday's league outing, the Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA) basketball squad nipped the host Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), by a margin of 52-49.
The Rams (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Wossman (Monroe, LA). The Wildcats go into the 3A District 1 outing with a 23-3 record. In their last outing, Wossman got by Sterlington (Sterlington, LA), 90-35, in a league outing.
The Farmers now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a 3A District 1 outing on Friday, January 26. Union Parish will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 76-19 league win over Bastrop (Bastrop, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-7.
