The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) basketball knocked off the visiting Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT), 76-60 in Monday's non-league test.

The Hilltoppers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Seahorses go into the Metro test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Burlington went down by Essex (Essex Junction, VT), 46-44, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Essex for a non-league test on Thursday, January 25. Rutland will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 46-44 league win over Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 2-10.
