St. Marys Bears (St. Marys, KS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wabaunsee Chargers (Alma, KS), 81-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Marys upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Rossville (Rossville, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Rossville won 57-37 in their recent non-league bout against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS)

Next up, the Chargers play the Riley County Falcons (Riley, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Wabaunsee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 58-35 non-league win over Republic County (Belleville, KS).
