In Monday's league outing, the Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ) basketball squad felled the host Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ), by a margin of 51-39.
The Tornadoes (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ). The Ravens go into the Colonial Valley outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Robbinsville was beaten by Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ), 67-65, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Allentown for a Colonial Valley outing on Tuesday, January 23. Steinert will encounter a Redbirds squad coming off a 73-59 non-league loss to Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ). The Redbirds record now stands at 2-9.
