The Waterford Wolverines basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Union Grove Broncos to 45 in the Wolverines league triumph on Monday.
The Wolverines now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Badger for a Southern Lakes contest on Friday, January 26. Waterford will meet a Badgers team coming off a 49-47 league loss to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI). The Badgers record now stands at 6-10.
The Broncos (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Beloit Memorial (Beloit, WI). The Purple Knights enter the Southern Lakes contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Beloit Memorial triumphed over Hononegah (Rockton, IL), 77-56, in a non-league contest.
