The Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Madelia Blackhawks to 34 in the league triumph on Monday.
The now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a A Section 2 contest on Thursday, January 25. Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons will battle a Clippers team coming off a 65-29 league loss to Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman (Granada, MN). The Clippers record now stands at 2-14.
The Blackhawks (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial was routed by Martin County West (Sherburn, MN), 47-46, in a non-league contest.
