The Ambridge Bridgers basketball team (Ambridge, PA), was overwhelmed 51-14 in Monday's league battle with the host Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA)
The Vikings now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beaver for a WPIAL 4A 2 battle on Thursday, January 25. Hopewell will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 42-14 league loss to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-9.
The Bridgers (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Cougars come into the WPIAL 4A 2 battle with a 15-2 record.
