Arlington Memorial Eagles (Arlington, VT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT), 40-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Arlington Memorial upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mill River (North Clarendon, VT) to play the Minutemen in a Marble Valley - B bout on Thursday, January 25. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Mill River lost 48-17 in their recent non-league bout against Poultney (Poultney, VT)

Next up, the Green Wave play the Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Wasps go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 56-24 league loss to White River Valley (Royalton, VT).
