The Athol Bears basketball team (Athol, MA), was overwhelmed 54-29 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Franklin County Tech Eagles (Turners Falls, MA)

The Eagles now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pioneer Valley Regional for a Franklin - South battle on Thursday, January 25.

The Bears (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record.
