Ohio High School Basketball - Mathews overwhelmed by Badger

The Mathews Mustangs basketball team (Vienna, OH), was overwhelmed 64-15 in Monday's league battle with the host Badger Braves (Kinsman, OH)

The Braves now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pymatuning Valley for a Northeastern - Stars battle on Thursday, January 25. Badger will confront a Lakers team coming off a 58-41 non-league loss to Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 9-5.

The Mustangs (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH). The Skippers come into the Northeastern - Stars battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Harding was overwhelmed by St. John (Ashtabula, OH), 63-32, in a non-league battle.
