The Baker Buffaloes basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Collegiate to 8 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Monday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 5-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Feliciana for a 2A District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Baker will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-33 league loss to Northeast (Pride, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-11.
The (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Pelicans come into the 3A District 6 contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Port Allen was routed by Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 63-9, in a league contest.
